Pre-Holiday Auction Finds - Active Auctions and Archived Works

With the advent of the winter auction season and the coming holidays, auction houses and on-line auction sites have been chocked to the rafters with beautiful works of art just waiting for buyers and collectors. I have culled a number of my finds here just for the shear enjoyment of it. As soon as I get a few spare minutes I will make attributions on the below listed artworks.

Works on Paper:

This particular drawing (above and below) has always been a cause of regret for me. When I saw it on eBay I decided not to bid on it because of the damage it has suffered over the years but the more I look at the really beautiful technique of the drawing I am more prone to kick myself in the rear-end for not going ahead and buying it, having it framed and displaying it. One of those could'a, should'a, woulda's.
